DIA has unveiled its mainnet staking program alongside a multichain Oracle Grants initiative, eliminating oracle costs for developers across more than 15 blockchain ecosystems. The program, backed by partnerships with Arbitrum, Avalanche, and emerging chains like Somnia, repurposes staking rewards to subsidize oracle fees for up to 12 months.
The model ties staking rewards on Lumina, DIA's onchain oracle stack, directly to usage. Each oracle update generates a fee, which is recycled back into the network. This creates a feedback loop where increased developer adoption boosts transaction volume, staking rewards, and network security. Zygis Marazas, DIA's Head of Product, describes it as "utility staking," a shift from passive yield farming.
